My stand on the crisis.

Right now the Philippines is in crisis. As a Filipino I should have a stand on the issue because this is the only way I can partake in the present situation. I am practicing my freedom of speech because this is my right as an individual. With dignity and Integrity I am not for President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s resignation.

            First, I believe that PGMA should be given the benefit of the doubt. We witnessed our former president Joseph Ejercito Estrada’s immorality. We know he had several mistresses. We know about his gambling acts. We know his family and educational background. Later on, his graft and corruption was exposed. Yes we all know this. Yet we gave him the benefit of the doubt and gave him a fair trial. We even let him get the best lawyers to defend him against the Republic of the Philippines. But the Filipino got sick and tired of all his lies and finally decided to hold the second people power revolution. The people won against a corrupt official and Gloria Macapagal Arroyo assumed to position. As a form of respect for the PGMA, aperson whom 12.9 Filipino voted during the National elections, I believe that it is her right that she should be given a fair trial.       

            Second, we should stop politicking instead we should start working. The forces of Mr. Estrada could not accept until now that People power 2 took place and the former president was replaced by the vice president. As written in the constitution, the vice president will be in position if ever the president resigns. We witnessed that EraP went out of Malacanang and Gloria swore as the next president.

During the 2004 elections she won the presidency and once again got seated in Malacanang. Yet the forces of her rival FPJ could not accept until now that Fernando Poe Jr. got defeated. Isn’t he dead already? Isn’t it a big reason why he wasn’t given the chance to seat as the president of the country?

In the current crisis the leftist or whom we know as communists like Kilusang Mayo Uno and Akbayan are using the situation so that they can make a chaos. They wanted to have a charter change but unlike Former president Ramos’ idea of a parliamentary government, they wanted to have communism.

Obviously these three groups of people are the ones rallying in the streets and asking the resignation of PGMA.

            Third, I just don’t see the point why the so called “masa” supports Erap Estrada. During the People power 3, they often sang the jingle “Gloria, Gloria, labandera” They are mocking Gloria by calling her a labandera. But don’t they realize that they are mocking their own selves. As we all know the labandera is part of the “masa” and they look down to labanderas. But instead of getting mad Gloria suppoted their claim by saying that she has labendara roots. Her grandmother was once a laundrywoman. Actually, Gloria’s family is from a poor clan in Pampanga. Shouldn’t the “masa” look up to Gloria because from a very low condition she rose up and become the president of the Philippines? Don’t the masa know that Erap has no traces of having poor roots? Well, Erap should thank the industry who put him to presidency.

            Last, whatever situation happens, the Philippine economy will be in danger. In the first scenario, Gloria resigns and Noli De Castro assumes to position. But the investors will not trust the new government because it will take some time for it to be stable. As a result the economy is in it’s downfall. Next scenario, Gloria undergoes impeachment. So a lot of investors would not risk their money in a government which is shaking. Still, the economy is in danger.  Last, scenario, Gloria goes on as the Philippine president, their would be no impeachment or no resignation. But the forces of Estrada, FPJ and leftists will still continue to rally. Still, the investors will be afraid to invest in the economy.

            The only possible way is that the Filipino people should unite and stop all the divisions. We should let the present government to take in charge. Will we always go to the streets and rally? It is up to us – our convictions. Yes, it is good that we question things and not just say Amen to whoever is in power. Yes, we question in order to seek the truth and eventually be liberated. But in doing so we should see the different aspects of things and judge according to what is in reality rather than our own personal gain and satisfaction. We should put the majority of the people’s sake first rather than our own. Thus, I am not in favor of PGMA’s resignation.

Right now I am being bombarded with a lot of ideas. First I am confused with what I will do with my hair. Why? Since October of last year I went to the salon for about ten times. About half of the reason was for my hair. I had my hair relaxed in October, had a haircut in November, had it fixed for my b-day, had another haircut on the last week of December, had another haircut in January, and had bangs in April. During the summer, I really wanted to have my hair curled. But I had the chance to have it curled when I joined the Santa Cruzan in the neighborhood. Ha! Curly hair for just one night. It made me feel good. I asked the stylist to curl my hair and she did a great job! When the first day of classes was getting near, my mom had my sisters trimmed. She even gave me money to go to the salon but I refused to have it cut because I want my hair to grow longer. A few days ago, I suddenly noticed that I have so many split ends. The thought of my hair having a lot damages bothers me a lot. This is a product of my hair relax last October. I wanted to go to the salon and have it fixed. I want another relax with reborn, cellophane and haircut. But I am in the process of analyzing if I really need it right now. And as a matter of fact, I’m still in the process of soliciting (hehe!) money from my mom.

1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you..

Hindi natin dapat ibase yung love sa feelings. Ang love hindi overnight lang. hindi yun laging mutual. Pinagiisipan, dinadama at dinedisyunan. Hindi ito isang pikit mata eh nawawala. When we decide to love someone, we love the entirety of that person… packaged deal… you’ll not love him because of his looks or because of his porma… you’ll love him because he is who he is.. no matter who he is no matter what happen… and the most important thing is that it comes from your heart… your happy to love him… and love is not equivalent to sex or intimacy… the weight of your love cannot be defined on how far your intimacy level goes. Not because your having sex eh mahal na kayo ng partner nyo. You can’t prove love by sex… yes you are giving yourself but you are just satisfying the sexual need of your partner… if you love someone.. you’ll learn to be patient and wait.. you won’t go beyond what morality dictates.. and you’ll respect her.. body, mind, soul, because premarital sex has negative effects on a woman. Will love motivate a guy to sleep with his girlfriend and later on dump her when he finds someone better. Absolutely no! se the structure of human beings… the head comes first followed by the heart  and at the mid – low level is the sex organ. This simply means that we should use our minds first before our sex organ. Hindi pwedeng ibibigay ko lahat kasi mahal ko siya.. yes andun na tayo na mahal natin yung tao but we should not let lust overpower us. Pero hindi din pwede na puro isip ang gagamitin we should balance everything… hindi pwedeng sabihin mo  banding huli na “sana nagtira ako sa sarili ko” coz you can’t change what already happened.

2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.
            Cry… an expression of one’s feelings… a relationship has many aspects… hindi yun puro happy moments lang.. there would be crying sessions… pero after which eh yung reconciliation part eh talaga naming nakakaoverwhelm… kaya if we are true humans okay lang namang umiyak. For example your’e going to cry because of a guy… k lang yun kasi your’e just expressing how you feel.. crying is better than being a volcano which after a long time will suddenly erupt. Pero if he’s the right guy a.k.a. God’s best, I believe he will absolutely make you happy and won’t make you cry…for true love doesn’t rejoices at wrongdoings but delights in the truth. 

3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

            Minsan akala natin yung ibang tao eh katulad natin… we expect too much from them kasi we also give to much. Dapat nating isaisip na not all people are like us… we come in different size, shape and color kaya not all of us are the same… kaya if we don’t actually receive what we expect eh hindi naman tamang malungkot tayo… we should understand the capabilities of other people and to what extent they can share their love to us.

4.. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
            mahirap makahanap ng totoong kaibigan lalo na sa mundong puro pretentions. Pero once na you take off your mask and be yourself, you’ll suddenly notice that your’e gaining more friends… your circle of friends widens… your social life suddenly bloom… be yourself and everything will go on with the flow

5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.
            sobrang ito nga yun! Kasi nafeel ko na to… yung alam mong my gf na tapos katabi mo pero you can’t have him because he is taken already … ouch… sakit! For me this is a tough thing. Kasi you can’t even expressyour feelings for him… una nattakot ka na malaman ng gf nya, syempre aakusahan kang mangaagaw, flirt, o pakielamera… pero if this is the case just move on and be happy with your life kasi ikaw lang ang talo.. siya masaya, ikaw nagmumokmok.. you know, guys don’t dwell on their feelings they are more rational they often use their minds rather than their hearts.. so don’t expet them to gte whatyou are trying to let them feel… mahina sila sa feeling part. Sabi nga a man can never know what a woman thinks but a woman can feel what a man thinks. So kung kayo kayo kung hindi hindi. That is the reality of life but you’ll be happy when the one meant for you arrives.. just wait and see.

6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your
smile.
            the secret of being pretty is having a nice smile…you can never buy this with money…

7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

            Ikaw ang aking mundo… bola! I don’t believe in this saying…

8. Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
            Love is patient… and if he is not patient he is not worth it…

9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
            siguro nga… kasi over the past few months hindi ko na feel na kailanagn ko ng boyfriend.. ewan ko bakit ngayon I suddenly feel the urge to have one… ive been praying to God to sent me his best… hindi ko laam kung ndyan na ab ayung best ni God o may chances na ni let go ko yung chance na nasa hara ko na yung best.. siguro hindi nga ako appreciative and God is teaching me to be appreciative… pero for those grateful persons ang dali nilang mhanap yung right one for them…tama ba?

10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
            thank God for everything… yes even your worst night mare

11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
            love is a risk… you have to go out of your comfort zone and take a leap. Ahirap it takes a lot of sacrifices and heart aches but it also makes you live…but even if there are people who will make you cry there are also people who will make you smile… and sa mga nagpaiyak sa’yo kakarmahin yun!

12. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.
            when you are trying to change someone do it by being a good example in that way you are not just changing one but two persons at the same time… you can never dictate to someone what you yourself can’t do… you have certain limitations such as your physical appearance. For instance, you are small because you inherit your mother’s height. But you are conscious of it. That is why you can make use of your possibilities so you can be better. You have skills, talents, abilities and God given things which you can make use of and be the best person you can be.

13. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you! least expect them to.
            pray! In GOd’s time darating din yan…parang butterfly when you try to catch one it will fly high so you own’t be able to catch it.. just open your palm wait for it to rest on you… you’ll see it’s beauty within reach.
